“Philanthropy & Community Service is very important to the Momentum DNA,” says Peter Montadas, Momentum’s President & Co-CEO, “it’s the way we think, and believe it’s important to give back and help those in need.” Involved with the United Way for over six years, Peter currently serves on the United Way Tocqueville Society Cabinet and as a past co-Chair of the United Way Tocqueville Society campaign.
Commitment to social responsibility is part of Momentum’s corporate culture. We are currently in our second year of a United Way Campaign, in which we match dollar-for-dollar of employee donations. Throughout the year, Momentum employees engage in a number of philanthropic pursuits, including participation in awareness campaigns, fundraising and direct support for numerous charities and non-profits including United Way, Make-a-Wish, Feeding South Florida, Habitat for Humanity, Ritchie Hockey Foundation, St. Mark’s Robotics Team, Toys for Tots, Feed My Starving Children and many more. To date, Momentum has raised and donated nearly $400,000 in the last four years alone and donated countless pro-bono hours of “in-kind” board participation work.
We're thrilled to announce that for the seventh consecutive year, Momentum was named one of Florida's Best Companies To Work For by Florida Trend Magazine!
As per Florida Trend Magazine, "To participate, companies or government entities had to employ at least 15 workers in Florida and have been in operation at least one year. Companies that chose to participate underwent an evaluation of their workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems, and demographics. The process also included a survey to measure employee satisfaction. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final ranking."
