On Saturday, January 30th over 20 volunteers from Momentum Consulting and their families joined 25,000 South Floridians at the largest ever Feed My Starving Children mobile-pack event. This mobile-pack will provide meals for a year for 13,000 children.

The event was hosted by the Miami-Dade County Youth Fair and Exposition. Volunteers worked in two-and-a-half hour shifts. The food being packed is called a MannaPackRice-a formula developed by the organization, FMSC, that consists of rice, soy, vitamins, and dehydrated vegetables. According to FMSC, "while the formula was designed to save the lives of severely malnourished and starving children, the ingredients also improve the health, growth and physical well-being of children who are no longer in immediate danger of starvation."

Feed My Starving Children, founded in 1987, is a non-profit organization committed to feeding children hungry. FMSC food has reached more than 70 countries in the organization's history.
