which are based in Costa Rica and Argentina, offer the benefits of
excellent professionals, proximity and similar time zones. This arm
of our organization allows us to offer our clients an attractive mix
of quicker time to market and very competitive rates.
The use of near-shore development teams allows
us to nimbly compete with the more traditional off-shore development, while providing a more accessible and seamless project team structure. The proximity of the teams and the negligible difference in their time zones, allow for greater communication, quicker issue resolution and greater team cohesiveness.
Each opportunity is assessed on its complexity, required customer interaction and time completion requirements. Momentum then advises the client on the possibility of deploying a purely onshore team, a joint team, or a managed near-shore team. The actual team structure is mostly transparent to the client as Momentum coordinates all project activities.
