Momentum Consulting Corporation's Vice-President and Co-founder, Mayte Fernandez, leads the Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing practice for the firm's clients. In addition, Mayte manages all aspects of corporate operations and also manages key client accounts. Mayte has over 15 years experience in Technology Implementations, Infrastructure Solutions, Project Management, and Application Development.

Mayte's background is diverse; she has worked for established and start-up companies with notable successes in both. Mayte has held a number of management roles and has successfully staffed and directed teams in successful application development and integration efforts. She specialized in developing Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing Solutions for customers across multiple industry verticals such as insurance, healthcare, retail, and transportation.

Prior to co-founding Momentum, Mayte acted as Vice-President of Information Technology for Car Spa, Inc., specializing in Car Wash, Lube, C-Store, and fuel operations throughout the United States. Mayte has also been a Director of Information Technology for Finser Corporation, an affiliate of the Cisneros Group of Companies, one of the largest media, entertainment and telecommunications organizations in Latin America. Mayte has served as Retail Systems Manager for AutoNation USA, Republic Industries used-car mega store chain. Mayte worked as a Project Manager for Ryder Integrated Logistics (RIL), Ryder System Inc.'s fastest growing business unit. While at RIL Mayte was accountable for the planning and development of technology solutions to meet business requirements for Ryder's key RIL customers such as Whirlpool, Xerox, Agway, General Motors, Ford, Saturn, Alcoa, and others.

Mayte has received various achievements and recognition awards including Technology Rookie of the Year (1994), Information Technology Project Management Award (1995), Recognizing Information Systems Excellence (1995,1996) and MIS Leadership Council member (1994-1997).

Mayte received her Masters in Business Administration (MBA) and Masters of Science (MS) from The University of Miami and a Bachelor of Business Administration (BA) in Computer Information Systems from Florida International University.
